OUR STORY
As a mother of two children who stresses what to prepare for my children’s meals every day,
I wanted to create a lunchbox that was both great for kids and helpful for parents.
As a designer, a primary focus in developing the Flex & Lock Kids Lunchbox™ was
to make sure my product didn’t involve any brushes or sharp cleaning tools
and to make it as easy as possible to clean.
All you have to do is remove the tray and wash it!
Lunchboxes are more grimey than they seem.
About a year and a half ago, as I was scouring the internet for the perfect lunchbox for my kids,
I read Amazon reviews about lunchboxes that had mold on the inner rubber seal strips.
I felt as if I had no choice but to purchase one and do my best to keep it clean every day,
which was a difficult task.
Then, one day, as I was browsing other silicone containers, it clicked – I can make my own!
I realized that by simply changing the materials from plastic to silicone,
I would be able to create a lunchbox that was super easy to clean.
As the idea was born and the process began,
our team conducted countless tests to make the product better and better.
Although it took quite a while for a small idea to be realized as an actual product,
we were able to succeed thanks to our desire to make the very best lunchbox for kids.

Since the launch of its first collapsible silicone lunch box set in 2018,
FLEX&LOCK has been specializing in research & development for fun
